6-Axis measuring arm
Hexagon's professional contact measurement equipment also offers an entry-level 3D scanning option—the 6-axis absolute arm measuring machine delivers this capability. Designed for portability and ease of use, it incorporates absolute encoders at every joint and is available in various grades, sizes, and three accuracy classes (PRO, Standard, and PLUS).
WiFi and battery options ensure complete portability, while the nearly hundred available probe accessories make it easy to find the most suitable measuring tool for any application. The probes use a repeatable mounting system, allowing hot-swapping without recalibration, eliminating concerns about system warm-up, setup, or datum re-establishment. These advanced technologies boost productivity and make portable measurement easier than ever.
The absolute arm measuring machine operates at temperatures up to 45°C and meets IP54 protection requirements for effective dust and water resistance, ensuring reliable performance even in the most challenging environments. When paired with Hexagon's Metrology Asset Manager software, users can remotely track and monitor the equipment, easily checking the location and status of each arm to ensure its accuracy meets measurement requirements.
